Thanks
for your interest in helping a child and their family live with Cancer.
The program that will benefit directly from the AEGISforLIFE program
is like a combination of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Make-A-Wish.
It is called The Miracles of Mitch Foundation and was
set up after a couple and their daughter lost their son/brother, Mitch,
to cancer. They were as amazing
to our nephew Tucker and his family through their, all too short, battle
with cancer. Tucker passed away in June of 2005. I
encourage you to look at their website and see what they do... And,
they happen to organize the largest
Kid's Triathlon in the United
States!!!
Pete Orne AEGISforLIFE Any AEGIS owner can receive credit on the purchase of a new AEGIS by trading in their old frameset. Old frames will then be refurbished and the proceeds from the sale of these used frames will benefit children and their families as they live with and battle cancer, providing "Quality of Life" assistance to children and to their families. The program that will administer these funds is the "Miracles of Mitch" program working out of Children's Hospital in Minnesota. (www.MiraclesforMitch.com) Aid may include:
Some refurbished frames may be donated to Cancer Survivors who have suffered financially as they battle and beat cancer. HOW:
AEGISforLIFE will consider trades of all other bike frames in good condition. This program is meant to help kids with Cancer, so the frame should have some value. In lieu of trading in your bike, AEGISforLIFE will accept proof of your cash donation to Miracles of Mitch, up to $1,000 per frameset, and deduct that amount from MSRP of your new bike purchased directly through AEGISforLIFE. |
