AEGIS Frame Lifetime Warranty
AEGIS Racing Bikes USA (AEGIS) frames are warranted for the life of the frame to the original owner to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from the effective warranty date. Proof of purchase is required. AEGIS will repair or replace the frameset due to defects in materials and workmanship through an authorized AEGIS dealer. This warranty does not cover installation, paint finish, freight, or adjustment of components, nor does it cover damage due to normal wear and tear, neglect, misuse, abuse or negligence. Any alterations to the product after manufacture will void this warranty in its entirety.

If AEGIS Racing Bikes USA determines a product defective, AEGIS will, at its sole option, either repair or replace the product free of charge. All build-up/break-down labor and shipping costs will be the sole responsibility of the owner. In order to obtain service under the AEGIS frame warranty, the frame must be returned to AEGIS along with the original bill of sale. All frames must be completely disassembled before being returned to AEGIS. Charges for disassembly, by AEGIS, are the responsibility of the owner.

Under no circumstances shall AEGIS be liable for any damages or injuries incurred by the use of its frames. This includes, but is not limited to: lost profits, lost savings, and incidental or consequential damages or injuries arising from the use of, or inability to use this frame. The warranty set forth in this agreement may not be extended or modified by any AEGIS Dealer, Agent or Employee. AEGIS does not assume any liability or make any warranty except as stated in this limited warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights depending on your state. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, or the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the limitations and exclusions set forth in this warranty may not apply to you.

AEGIS Racing Bikes USA does not, nor ever has made forks. Please contact the fork manufacturer for issues regarding forks.

Aegis Crash Replacement Program
The original owner of every AEGIS frame is protected for his or her lifetime by our exclusive crash replacement program. If, in the unfortunate event of a crash, the frame is repairable, AEGIS will repair it for cost. If AEGIS is unable to repair the frame , AEGIS will replace it at a cost less than wholesale through an authorized AEGIS dealer. This warranty does not cover installation, paint finish, freight, or adjustment of components, nor nor does it cover damage due to normal wear and tear, neglect, misuse, abuse or negligence. Any alterations to the product after manufacture will void this warranty in its entirety.

AEGIS Warrantee Transfer
Let's face it... sometimes an AEGIS owner buys a new AEGIS frame allowing someone else to enjoy the AEGIS ride experience. These frames are designed to last a lifetime so it makes sense that there be a process to allow a new owner to get the lifetime warrantee extended to the original owner. You as the original owner or the new owner, purchasing from the original owner, wishing to purchase a warrantee transfer, should call AEGIS and get an authorization number to have your frame inspected. The transfer fee is currently $375.

Any warrantee repairs will be made and any non-warranty items will be noted to the owner and repaired at owners expense. If AEGIS notes that any defects in the frame that may make the frame potentially unsafe to ride, the frame will not be returned unless repairs, if possible, are made. AEGIS will not return frames that are reported stolen.

AEGIS can refurbish the entire frame at the time of Warrantee Transfer inspection and will discount the refurbishment by 30% if done at the same time. AEGIS will refinish forks to match the frame but takes no responsibility for the condition of the fork, except that AEGIS will make every effort to note any safety issues concerning the fork. AEGIS Racing Bikes USA does not, nor ever has made forks. Please contact the fork manufacturer for issues regarding forks.

Paint And Finish Warranty
The manufacturer's paint finish on each Aegis frame is warranted for one (1) year to the original owner to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from the effective warranty date. Returns
For warranty or restoration service please call for a repair authorization (RA) number before shipping your bicycle. 1-877-33-AEGIS. Bicycles should be shipped to:

Your name, address and telephone number.
Repair Authorization (RA) number.
A description of the damage to the bicycle including how it happened.
Specific instructions of what repairs you would like performed.
