Decent for the price. Easy Assembly.

Overall, the assembly was easy and took about 1/2 hour. Everything works as expected. Like the labels on the pedals. I initially had the front tire in the wrong direction, but i saw the arrow and compared it to the rear tire. The only thing i’m not 100% sure about is the lubrication of the moving parts. I’m not sure if there was metal on metal friction happening, but the rear tire doesn’t rotate as freely as I would expect. I lubricated it with some WD-40 and it is better, but not as good as my 20 year old bike. I also wish it has a quick release seat.

    GREAT deal for the price

GREAT deal for the price! Sure it’s a little heavier than other high end 16″ bikes, but do you really need to worry about weight for a learner?? Spending $150 for a 16″ branded bike seems nuts to me. Fully expect our son will transition to a 20″ within a year, so this was a great compromise to get him riding without spending serious cash on something he will outgrow quickly.Did have to adjust to get it riding smoothly but it only took 20 minutes; if you’re not mechanically inclined, it might take longer. Went together without any issues. Can’t comment on trainer wheels (though they look decent) as our boy started on a stride bike, which I highly recommend. Our son got on this bike (his first pedal bike) and immediately started riding without training wheels.
